Creative/Brand Direction for the PWHL’s Montréal Victoire
Graphics Packages for Social Media
As a designer for the PWHL, I lead the brand direction for the Montréal Victoire’s 2025-26 season. I updated the Victoire’s branding, using the brand’s initial launch from the 2024-25 season as a stepping stone to elevate and further develop the creative look and feel. All assets across media were updated, from social media template packages to print, in-venue, and various marketing assets.
The template package ranges from general templates such as birthday, quote, event promos, and evergreen ticketing assets, to a full Game day template package. In total, at least 34 unique template assets were created, with various artboard sizes within each asset file.
All assets were created in Adobe Creative Suite with the intention of being organized and built so that a social media manager, marketing member, corporate partner, or any other party not well-versed in Photoshop or Adobe could easily navigate and update the files across various sizes. Many of these templates were also built out for use in Slate, an all-in-one social media content editing software.
A unique facet of Montréal’s branding is the implementation of French as the primary language, with most assets designed bilingually to include English when necessary. I worked closely with our league’s translator to ensure that assets would be understood by both French and English speakers, while championing the French language preferred in Montréal.
